U.S. Clergyman, Civil rights Leader. Winner of
Nobel Peace
Prize in l964
Speech, 28 Aug. 1963, Washington, D.C.
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of
former slaves and the sons of
former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table
of brotherhood.
For God Is All Colors, and All the Human Nations
Congratulations to you all, brothers and sisters, Oh yes,
Ah... I had
a dream, and it was, that all the people will unite and if not for the
sake of unity, then it must be for the people to live, as you probably
know--it is Martin Luther. Yesss sir. Long way I have come,
long way I have gone and long way yet we all need to go, and I can hear
so many of you, that still think so, but those of you, brothers
and
sisters out there, my dream is for you. Where I am now is my
dream,
but it is sad, I am with the supreme, for my dream I had for the people
of earth. So as it is the month of my birth, I am coming to join
this universal mission for peace. And to all my people in all the
world. If you think that for peace I always to you told, then now
my cry has doubled twice as strong, for your direction is seen to be
wrong.
It was a dream I had, but I tried to make it a reality. Some were
glad and others became mad, because one man had a dream, to unite all
mankind
as the supreme, as the divine, and as the holy sign. A color to
you,
we should all be blue, for in my eyes, that is God I see.
Mankind,
you are truly worthy of my dream. For all I can do now is to tell
you all, that I live.
Yes, I Live and have not died. And my last
tear drop
was with my body, a cry, for my spirit flew off, with my dream, into
the
land of the supreme, for there upon your planet, I left behind, the
memory
of my dream and that is why I scream. What has been ignored became a
nightmare
to all of you. There is plenty of room to share for all the
people,
white and black, yellow and green, hand in hand, for all the people a
power
of peace, for all the people, fighting will cease. I had a dream,
when I saw the day, when the whole sky lit up, and to God I pray:
"Would
you come and help mankind today"! Not for me, my dream, he would
say, for Martin, you have done your part, and that is when I felt the
sting
in my heart and I was gone. Then, I followed the voice, for I had
done my part and I had shared my dream and I had told all the people,
with
an echoing scream. Well, I have not left for I will come back
again,
into all the people of this land. I can tell you now, that you all
better
share my dream, and wake up to meet your reality.
Wake up and pay attention, for God is a holy vibration, for
God is all
colors and all the human nation.
Thank you my brethren. That is my time.

Egyptian Politician. Assassinated by Egyptian
Islamic
fundamentalists
President of Egypt 1970-1981, he shared the 1978 Nobel
Peace
Prize with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin
for negotiations that led to a historic peace treaty in 1979.
I Talked To People, But No One Paid Attention To Me, And
Then
I Saw My Body
I knew it, it would be my end. But why? I ask. To kill
a man who
attempted peace with an enemy. I was not a bad leader. I
attempted
to achieve what was beyond hope. To bring some light on a
hopeless
situation.
My friends, my family, my country men, all the world should
know that
I was assassinated innocently, for the sake of bribery, for bribery
poisoned
my heart. My refusal cost me my life and I knew then that was my
end; the refusal to back away from the decision that I had made. To me
that would have been bad. As I sat, they came and howled my name, SADAT
!!! And that was all I heard and then fire crackers went off and
the celebration went without me, for I was carried off into another
direction.
And I found myself looking into a blurry vision of the celebration, I
could
not understand what had happened. The commotion, all the people
screaming.
I tried to see and I tried to run up and talk to people I knew, but no
one paid attention to me until then I saw my body. And I was gone
into a place that was Heaven. I will die again for the sake of
peace.
Why? Why does there have to be the destroyers of life? You
must now understand what I speak and I mean this. All of you
strong
or weak, no longer must you sit back and watch as you are being lead to
the slaughter. Do you understand? Stand up for your full
right
to live. Make a move. You must insist. You must demand an answer
to where you are being taken. You must improve your way of life
upon
the world. And you must listen to this Universal message or you
will
let this innocent slaughtering continue of people standing up for
peace.
You must not let them be wasted. It was not easy, but then no one
knew what I went through. But that is why I say: "Do not depend
upon
the Governmental way. What I am saying, you must insist for an
explanation.
You cannot depend upon the leaders of your nation unless they prove
their
worth, unless they explain and make a change for the best for the sake
of you as people and your right to exist in unity and peace. If
not,
they must not be allowed to lead. You do not need to kill
them.
Just replace them. Put some body in their place that has the
strength
and the will to stand up and CREATE A HEAVEN UPON EARTH. That is
what you need before it is too late. You will all be sorry.
Do not wait. Do it, as soon as you can. Demand, whether you are
woman
or man. You must find out where you are going. Do not be blindly
lead to the slaughter as I was.
I was blindly lead to the slaughter, and it was by people I trusted.
Thank you.

GOLDA
MEIR b.1898-d.1978,
Tape #14 Recorded
12.29.1984
Israeli Prime Minister 1969-74
Born in Russia as Golda Mabovitch. After a teaching career in the U.S.,
she settled in Palestine 1921,
where she became active in the labor movement and later served as
Israel's
minister of labor 1949-56
and of foreign affairs (1956-66). As prime minister she sought peace
for
Israel and resigned in 1974.
Quoted in: Observer (London, 29 Dec. 1974): Pessimism is a luxury
that a Jew can never allow himself.
Dear *Shamir, Shalom. Now Is the Time To
Unite
Back
Newly I have passed into this dawn. I am here in
behalf of
all the people of earth, so as to speak out against the
destruction.
Please, listen to me: "I am GOLDA, though I am no longer
your leader,
here I have learned, there is something, much more important than your
demands. You are on the verge of self destruction and you will be
the cause of that. I am talking about your constant wants and
needs
for more than what you need. You must leave war. Give up
your
fight. Stop killing your own people. Yes, they are too your
people. You were once cousins, and now neighbors. Even I, did not
realize that, until I had came here. I say to you, take not what
you do not need. Give back the freedom that you demand. All
have the right to share equally. You are being watched from
here.
Do not take land you need not. You must be fair and equal.
Survival depends on all of you. No longer think of
yourselves.
Dear *Shamir, NOW IS THE TIME TO UNITE BACK WITH YOUR
NEIGHBORS IN PEACE.
Stop killing over land that belongs to no one, but to all
people.
It is not your land and it is not their land. It belongs to every
one. You should have learned a big lesson from the past. Do not
continue
to do to others what you had suffered. That is not the way of
God.
You can not continue to believe in God and continue to kill the people
of God. Give up your fight and you must become fair. Accept
what you have collected and put an end to war. Give what you do
not
need, to people that are without, and this I say to you with a loud
shout,
because you all will one day depend on each other for survival.
You
must stop fighting amongst each other. Unite together, brother as
brother and sister as sister. I mean what I say to be true, for I
can see from here what you can not, and what I could not, when I was
there.
A lesson to be learned by all people, no longer follow the path you are
on. You will one day need support from all around you and you
will
find it not there unless you now make yourself for peace by sharing and
giving back what you have taken and you can do without.
* 2005 Note: Shamir
stepped down
from Likud leadership in March, 1993. He was a sharp critic of his
Likud
successor, Benjamin Netanyahu, as being too indecisive in dealing with
the Palestinians. The Prime Minister at the present time is Ariel Sharon
