Comment Notes:    Understanding  The Original 2nd. Principle of Spiritualism:  "The Brotherhood of Man"
Only through LOVE and WISDOM can the POWER be given:  " Thy Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven."
True wisdom, the being used as an instrument by the life-force is gained by working for the betterment of humanity to the best of your ability. This is the Brotherhood of Man; Brotherly Love, higher than the earthly concept of the
*Golden Rule,' which has nothing to say about LOVE the highest power.  The Brotherhood of Man, Brotherly Love, must be returned to the PRINCIPLES of SPIRITUALISM and replace the GOLDEN RULE.  The Brotherhood Man in progression is loving and respecting all humanity,  male and female and being a guardian on earth for all its creatures and nature;  while truly desiring a higher wisdom in the winter of ones life in the earthly body, will contribute greatly to building the summer home, ones rightful place in the spirit world.  Ignorance of the laws of Brotherly Love--caring more for the self than for others,  means a lack of preparation towards building a Spiritual home, a home in the 'Summer land.'   It is far easier for souls to prepare while still in human embodiment than to arrive in the spirit world ignorant.  For a fine example of preparing ones home in the Spirit world, see the above statement by George Bernard Shaw, Playwright and Philosopher; a life of giving in service to humanity.

* Below,  The Golden Rule Principle, only used in the American version is overdue for removal.
A new dispensation is now here and if we are to progress into the new and higher vibration we
need to get with it and do our part--SPIRITUALLY; with true intent.

It must be remembered that the 'Nine' Principles given below are not at all how the original 'six' were given by the Spirit of Robert Owen through Mrs. Emma Britten, see above.   England and America had Solicitors and Lawyers change them. I find it unacceptable to keep them this way.  England made them into 'Seven'  but, retaining  'The Brotherhood of Man.  I can accept the English Principles because they are quite close to the original given by the Spirit world, but not the totally changed American Principles.

Also, the American version compartmentalizes the three fold aspect of Spiritualism by splitting it up its parts--over several principles.  It is a gestalt, more than the sum of its parts.  The word 'Religion' must be removed, it was never in the original  and, it will not fitting for the future dispensation.  Today, Religion is Dogma to most,  Spiritualism is NOT dogma. Therefore #3 should be removed and this should be #7 perhaps:

" Spiritualism IS;  its philosophy, the inblending into the one perfect whole of all its parts;
the union of its phenomena and spirit, the meeting and merging of its body and soul."

Love, after recognition of The Infinite Intelligence, MUST come second; The Brotherhood of Man. The American lawyers threw it out--most important original 2nd principle,  The Brotherhood of Man, the principal of love for all humanity, the higher law above all dogmatic earth laws, I find these changes totally unacceptable. At the moment, it has been replaced  with the earthly wishy washy  'Golden Rule', requiring that you only 'do' for others, in a ridiculously worded way,  without direction towards Loving Kindness.  Leaving all their Principles empty of the understanding of the power of Love.  Also, very important, the whole aspect of WHY we are here; development of our souls, the word 'soul' has been removed.
This must be #3 :      "The immortality of the soul and its personal characteristics."

Only a total of 7 principles are needed.
We must raise our vibration above the limited requirements made my the lawyers. This will help otherwise non thinking followers to stop being followers--as 'following' is NOT Spiritualism.  Important in Spiritualism, is to gain through its philosophy, a way to sail your ship meaningfully into correct waters with positive thought, helped by the personal proof of life after physical death. A philosophy requires individual studying and research.  A religion today, as these Principals suggest are just a bunch of precepts made by earth-minded lawyers, suggesting today nothing else is required of the neophyte but to accept them.  This problem was created by the way the American Lawyers interpreted the Principals.

The original Principles, barely changed in Great Britain and have had the effect of promoting the need to question and gain more knowledge of them from the Spirit world.   It is very important to the Spirit world that the neophyte questions Spiritualism, but when the American principles are not really principals at all but precepts of a religion, no one will adequately question and learn, because it has been done for them inadequately.

Now is the time to call for changes to the lawyers opinions and limited interpretation.
There's no correct mention in the American principles of the SOUL;  except #8 which should be replaced by the original #6.   There's no Principle in the America 'Nine' that has the intent for LOVE of humanity.  A few of these changed American  principles--make them lower the true intent of Spiritualism.   Blind old earth dogma like the 'Golden Rule' mean very little, mostly empty words that can easily be construed into contrary meaning.  The word: belief is wrong; Spiritualists have had these facts proven to them by experience and phenomena, so  belief becomes 'proven fact'.  Notice how simply and powerfully the spirit world gave the original  'six'.    All these American changes show there was a lack of higher Spiritual understanding by those responsible inside Spiritualism.  They represent a problem to those today who are perceptive and right minded enough to know this is against the highest aspects of the Philosophy of Spiritualism.  Others realize there are  Universal truths above earth religions.   Without Sisterhood Brotherhood, love towards humanity,  Spiritualism would have very little truth.

Those dark days have long passed when Christianity was the only acceptable religion in America,  wielding it's control.    Now is the time to call for changes to the lawyers opinions and limited interpretation.  Lawyers developed the legitimacy of a Church Association,  by adopting some Christian ways of doing business, they did their best during these times. Spiritualism was unrelentingly condemn by some belonging to the halls of Christian education and would attempt to cause cause Spiritualism great harm wherever it could.  A time in American history that was not at all favorable towards Spiritualism and of course, women had no rights at that time either.

We need to encourage a more universal,  deeper philosophical knowledge of Spiritualism in American churches. We must help people know what it means to practice the principle, The  Brotherhood of Man.  It is almost forgotten and not fully understood today.  But, it is the soul of humanity that emerged September 11th, the great loss of life on that shows us its true essence and what we are learning about loving and caring about others.  And, in the doing,  we lift our vibrations towards receiving more Love and Wisdom, that we will give us the Power to do thy Will on earth.  We are now in a newer time, a time of soul development, facing a true reality through loss of life and a bit less materiality.

Why Is The 'Golden Rule'  Not Spiritual?  American NASC 6th Principle

Let me explain, if you know in your heart soul, what the Sister Brotherhood of Man really means: Loving all humanity and creation and doing for it what you can, experienced in giving positively and with loving kindness, remaining genuine and understanding those laws of helping others and working towards improvement for the good of humanity; then, you may understand why the 'Golden Rule'  is not the 'highest morality ' as it claims in the 6th American principal. Limiting in its wording, it does not imply the spiritual at all.  In fact, the Golden Rule is closer to what you want for yourself; treating others like yourself, it is void of guidance for improvement and knowledge. The highest morality would be to do 'more' for others than you would do for yourself.
No wonder we have so many problems here on earth-- the Golden Rule is not the highest morality after all.

This is what Life-Force driven,  philosopher, playwright,  George Bernard Shaw had to say about the worthless 'Golden rule.' His Mother by the way,  held regular Spiritualist circles in London.
